LATINOS: WE NEED YOUR VOICE!
Join the Greater Toledo Chapter of LCLAA
Do you want to know what’s good about foreclosures and the attacks on unions and working families? That we are getting sick and tired and we are organizing to fight back! Members of unions of Latino origin are being called to join the Greater Toledo chapter of the Labor Council for Latin American Advancement (LCLAA), the Latino constituency group within the AFL-CIO and the Change to Win Federation.
LCLAA was founded in 1973 to represent the interest of over 2 million Latino trade unionists throughout the country. In the current political scenario, it is imperative that we renew our efforts to re-energize the labor movement at its base. Constituency groups, such as LCLAA, can play an important role in these efforts.
But we need you! Please contact Beatriz Maya, Secretary Treasurer for the Farm Labor Organizing Committee (FLOC) at 419-243-3456 Ext 3 or by email: bmaya1@floc.com for more information and to become a member of LCLAA.
You can get more information about LCLAA history, programs and initiatives at www.lclaa.org.
Hasta la Victoria!
